GIN ENGINE

Product Development of the Gin Engine Ready-to-Drink beverage

This project involved the design and international launch of a new ready-to-drink beverage across the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Greece, and Japan.
Influencers Marketing and Exclusive Events
I managed relationships with both micro and macro influencers, in Italy and internationally, with the goal of increasing brand awareness. More specifically, I coordinated the production and distribution of the Engine Kit as well as the personalized invitations process for the ENGINE Garage Party, an exclusive event organized during Milan Fashion Week.

From the very beginning, the concept of portability and identity was central.
It was not just about bottling a cocktail; it was about designing an experience, both visual and taste-wise, that embodied Engine in every detail.

Final packaging selected and launched
After reviewing bottle renderings created by designers, I engaged directly with suppliers to gather accurate data on costs, lead times, and material quality. Through market analysis and extensive supplier consultations, I helped identifying the 237ml tear-off cap can proposed by Baladin as the ideal solution for on-the-go consumption. Despite its small size, it delivers the full character of Gin Engine with a 7.5% ABV.
Style, ease of handling, and usability at events and live concerts were the key concepts I strongly emphasized to suppliers during the prototype development phase.

The render of the initial bottle design conceived

I communicated detailed product design specifications and gathered data on estimated production timelines from suppliers. Based on this information, I developed several simulations exploring different scenarios across key variables, including:
- The aluminum container
- The tear-off cap
- Tray clustering (24 bottles per tray)
- Gin production
- Bulk transport and final packaging with tonic and bottling
Taking all these factors into account, the optimal combination of suppliers and bottle design resulted in the following product launch timeline.
